Sad as it is, I’m on the computer at 23:08 UK time.. I was hoping to get some more details about my document creation system posted up, but just ran out of time today working on a slight bug with the XMLResultsiterator. Once I’ve honed that puppy I’ll be posting here with the first set of details.
But for now, just to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a very merry New Year.. (Although I hope to post before New Year!)

Ok, this is turning into a one post a month blog.. not what I intended at all.
At the moment, I’m working on a very nifty automated document creation feature for SharePoint. It’s by no means a simple solution as we’re bringing together elements of SharePoint library and file management, Binary Document Streams, manipulating Open XML file formats and event handlers.
I’ll be posting shortly on how to create a new item from a Custom Document template. This forms the starting point for our document creation and is a good chance to explore the SPListitem and SPFile relationship within SharePoint.
